Healthcare is riding a digital wave. The promise is vast, but real value is only realised when technologies are user-centred, solve real-world problems, and are adopted through clinically led change.

Nexa was founded at the nexus of clinical and digital created to bridge the gap between what technology can achieve and what healthcare professionals and patients genuinely need.

Founded by Hayley Grafton, Nexa grew from more than 25 years of experience in the NHS. Throughout her career, Hayley clinically led multiple large-scale digital health transformations across acute healthcare settings. Time and again, however, she saw digital solutions fail to reflect the realities of clinical work.

That gap is why Nexa was created.

Nexa brings together clinicians, digital leaders and innovators to shape digital health from the frontline outwards. We support healthcare organisations through digital transformation with those who know how to deliver digital into a healthcare system, give suppliers meaningful access to clinical expertise, and provide clinicians with a platform to influence the tools that shape their daily practice, workflows and patient care.

Our work is grounded in lived clinical, operational and digital experience and is focused on making digital transformation practical, safe and truly adoptable.

We have lived the workflows, struggled with poorly designed systems, navigated workarounds, and led optimisation from within. We understand what frontline teams need from digital health technologies, how to drive adoption, and realise benefits safely and sustainably.
